Careers Advisor – Schools Liaison Team – Growing North West Training Provider

We are looking for an experienced Careers Advisor to cover schools/YPS/Community Centres etc in the Greater Manchester area (ie Oldham, Rochdale, Bury, Trafford, Wigan, Bolton, Salford, Tameside, Manchester, Stockport).
Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm (some flexibility required)
Our client is one of the highest achieving training providers in the North West and they are looking for an experienced Schools Liaison Careers Advisor to support the marketing of training services to the community. Teaching and Learning is at the heart of everything our clients do.
Are you a qualified IAG Careers Advisor? Have you had experience of marketing training services members of the community.
Are you able to offer flexibility working inside and outside of normal working hours due to Schools open evening events, youth club and community centre events etc? Do you have experience of working with YPS, ESFA and other agencies to maximise efforts in increasing participation on to programme? Do you enjoy bringing new ideas on how to promote programmes in the community?
Your role and responsibilities as Schools Liaison Careers Adviser for our growing provider will include
Arranging Visits to our provider, arranging Open Days, arranging School Visits, attending Careers Conventions, holding Promotional Events i.e. Parents Days/Evenings, holding events at Youth Clubs etc, attending industry days/mock interviews etc in school, delivering Enterprise sessions
You will To be an active member of Schools Liaison Group generally promoting Apprenticeships, Study Programme and Traineeships. Attending Work Based Learning Forum and CIAG meetings as required. Carry out presentations to classes and assemblies regarding Apprenticeships/Study Programme, Traineeships on Schools request and to build and maintain links with Schools. Your responsibilities each week will be to keep iPad calendar updated, to complete a weekly activity/timesheet, read various relevant literature to keep self topical on requirements, changes etc and to cover any other non-technical duties that may occur in relation to Government Funded programme.
Reporting to the Sales, Recruitment and Marketing Manager you will work as part of a Schools Liaison Team of 4 where each member can secure a bonus at the end as an incentive business performance reward and was received in the last financial year.
