£28.5k to £35k Full Time Permanent 40 hours per week Monday to Friday
Our client are a public service provider specialising in skills training for the long-term unemployed, increasing employment opportunities by working with employers and providing youth services. They are an ambitious organisation which has undergone significant growth and diversification. The business now employs 400 staff delivering a diverse portfolio of employability, skills and youth services across the United Kingdom.
The Compliance Manager (CM) will lead on the implementation, development and integration of a compliance function across the business’ portfolio of government and public-sector contract where you will develop and implement fit for purpose processes, design appropriate resource and incorporate a training function across the business to ensure that contractual requirements are interpreted, understood and communicated effectively.
The role will also be responsible for managing and facilitating external Contract Monitoring visits and developing this function in line with business and commissioner requirements.
Day-to-day duties will also involve the management of a compliance framework, conducting a schedule of activity, periodic review of practice, ensuring continuous improvement is fostered and embedded, developing the use of management information to inform activity and evidence results and ensuring that both direct and supply chain delivery is supported equally.
Resource design, process design, using MI, reporting and presenting to the business along with managing relationships are key components of the role.
– Business Improvement: Leading on strategic development of our internal compliance team and ensuring there are clear frameworks in place
– Relationship Management: Working in collaboration with operational teams and other support functions
– Efficiency Monitoring: Development and production of easy to understand, timely management information that enables the business to identify compliance with process and contractual requirements
– Process Design and Improvement: Contributing to the design and ongoing development of process and procedural documentation in align with operational management and contractual requirements
You will need to be able to understand contractual requirements and then be able to to design training accordingly and be able to demonstrate experience of managing a multitude of projects in tandem. Advanced knowledge of excel is necessary too.
