Bristol, based at HQ, working on a virtual/online assessment platform working with Webinar/Skype and Calling learners in their workplace to offer coaching, mentoring and assessment support.

Do you have extensive, relevant vocational experience in Health and Social Care or Health and Social Care Management and used to working autonomously ?

Working with learners across the UK, conducting visits via distance learning.  You will help progress existing Learners and ensure they remain on programme, complete their qualifications and above all provide an exceptional experience to both the learner and our clients. You will need to be either a qualified Health and Social Care Assessor (CAVA or equivalent), or have strong sector experience and qualifications and be willing to undertake your CAVA qualification through our client.  You will also need a passion for learning and developing others.
The role involves working with work-based learners that have become displaced for a variety reasons.  It will be delivering remote based assessment ensuring progression ensuring all aspects of the Apprenticeship or Advanced Apprenticeship frameworks in a variety of disciplines. The learners are based in varied facilities across the UK and work within a variety of different job roles.

Your role will be to communicate to external and internal stakeholders to ensure full awareness of displaced learners.  Ensure remote visits are undertaken and visit frequency is maintained and no learners’ funding is put at risk.  To ensure all contact logs are update with all communication to learner and employer. Diary completion and remote visits programmed in ePortfolio and Outlook.  To understand fully the national vocational standards for each qualification delivered. Ensure all learners are progressed timely through their apprenticeships. To understand the structure of the contracts training schedules and content in order to gain some understanding on any prior learning supplied by the company your assessing for.  To get involved in the client’s needs and objectives in order to ‘speak the same language’ and train this through the delivery remotely. You will need to have an organised and flexible approach to work and the ability to remain motivated and able to deliver within a remote role.

Essential qualifications:

  • Level 3 Health and Social Care Qualification or equivalent
  • GCSEs English and Maths (C or above or key skills equivalent)

Desirable qualifications

  • Level 5 Health and Social Care Qualification or equivalent
  • Assessing Qualification (desirable)
  • Functional Skills Maths and English Level 2 (desirable)
  • Teaching Qualification (desirable)
