We are looking for n Employability Manager with proven experience of a senior operational leadership.
Working knowledge of the Further Education/Training sector
Significant people management experience
Demonstrable experience of managing P&L, forecasting and budgets
Excellent understanding of government and funding body requirements around Adult education and traineeship funding
Reporting to the Head of Adult Education you will be responsible for leading and developing a Traineeship team to ensure operational targets and a strong
learner experience is consistently delivered.
Provide leadership across the Traineeship team to create a culture of high performance
Take responsibility for effective communication & engagement of the team including structured calls, meetings and events.
Take responsibility for all aspects of people management within the team
Performance manage all members of the team to deliver outstanding individual and team results including undertaking monthly performance review meetings with direct reports. Ensure relevant action to address under performance and/or non-compliance is taken in a timely manner. Ensure team is fully recruited and a succession plan maintained
Actively support, coach and mentor team members to ensure high standards of learner and employer experience and customer service
Create a culture within teams where digital systems and ways of working are embraced and fully utilised
Ensure yourself and your team maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support the achievement of operational and business targets
Manage any client/learner complaints, comments or compliments and take appropriate action providing high levels of customer service to learners and employers at all times
Quality & Compliance:
Support team to ensure learner achieve their qualifications in accordance with agreed targets and timescales.
Ensure team deliver high quality teaching, coaching, assessing through blended learning to verify skills, knowledge and competence of learners in line with company, OFSTED and awarding body standards
Ensure CRM is being used effectively and accurately for tracking activity and reporting
Ensure Smart Assessor is being used in conjunction with associated KPI’s by all operational teams effectively and accurately
Support the team to maintain a full caseload, accurately forecasting caseloads overtime to enable business planning
Work with the curriculum team to support the creation, development and launch of new, industry leading and innovative training products
Ensure contract delivery and performance is on target and within budget
