Improvement Practitioner / Improvement Specialist Assessor Trainer

£30k Permanent Full Time, plus expenses, mileage, laptop, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, operational support, induction

To cover some learners in the West Midlands, the cohort will grow.  Ideally you will be based in East/West Midlands.

Interviewing for a November/December start

An opportunity to join a fast-developing experienced National training provider to support the teaching/assessing of the Improvement Practitioner / Improvement Specialist Levels 4 and 5 apprenticeship standards. The Level 5 will commence from March 2019.  Ideally with BIT/Improvement Practitioner qualifications and some significant occupational experience, visiting apprentices in the workplace, providing training and supporting mainly Levels 4 within 1-2-1’s and workshop.  The successful candidate will be responsible for the coaching and development of management apprentices through the Apprenticeship Standards and delivering Level 4/5 qualifications. You will work alongside the employer to develop the plan for how and when the on-programme and end-point assessments will be delivered, and teach the apprentices’ to ensure they progress towards this. Some experience of creating curriculum too will be expected.

Key responsibilities and objectives;

Achieving minimum 88% end-point assessment, leading to a minimum 88% success rate on the Apprenticeship Standard
Hold assessing and teaching / training qualifications or similar, holding an IQA qualification would be advantageous: ie A1; V1; PGCE; CTLLS; DTLLS; CAVA; AQA

Ability to establish positive working relationships with clients
Able to facilitate the enhancement of work performance, self-directed learning and personal development
Prepare, agree and review apprenticeship learning plans

Training & Development, On-going internal training, Health and Safety, Safeguarding, Equal Opportunities & Diversity, External training as requested
You will need to be highly motivated, persuasive, persistent and patient and have a proven track record in the in developing learner progression through a series of learning stages.

Six Sigma Green and Black belt qualifications needed.
