The Senior Assessor will be instrumental in delivering from induction to completion and will complete 1:1’s with assessors, support their assessors where apprentices are falling behind and/or are at risk of withdrawal. Working with the assessor, apprentice and employer to retain and support the interventions required to progress towards achievement and where the risk is employer related work with the business development team to quickly identity potential new employers to support apprentices achieve and maximise apprenticeship retention and progression of further apprentices. You will be fundamental in achieving the Organisation’s commitment to transform students’ lives.
The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience of the Pharmacy industry. This involves overseeing the Assessment and delivery of Pharmacy qualifications to apprentices. You will be knowledgeable about Apprenticeships. Assessor qualified; with a recognised qualification in Pharmacy you will have a track record of successfully completing a similar role in an educational environment.
You will be adept at delivering results in a cross college environment as well as being highly motivated, able to work on your own initiative and solution oriented. You will be capable of managing a high workload and be able to prioritise and delegate effectively in order to ensure all deadlines are met.
Our client need you to have;
- Current knowledge and relevant occupational experience in the assessment area
- Proven experience of accurately and timely assessing in the workplace/classroom
- Capable of working with candidates with a wide range of abilities
- Ability to engage and motivate candidates
- Experience of working within a customer focused environment
